Port Willunga is a shore-entry beach dive 35 km south of Adelaide on the Fleurieu Peninsula, distinct from the Star of Greece wreck that lies just offshore. Entry is from the sandy beach below the Port Willunga cliffs, with the historic jetty pylons (the jetty itself was destroyed in 1915) acting as the main underwater feature. The pylons are covered with sponges and host nudibranchs, seahorses, leatherjackets and a strong macro community. Reef extends south of the pylons for further exploration. The site rates consistently among the better shore dives in the state and is a popular night dive.
