About Tinderbox Marine Reserve
Submerged information plates run alongside a sandstone reef close to shore, leading divers past kelp gardens, sponge-covered ledges and weedy seadragon habitat. Sheltered conditions and easy access make this Hobart's go-to training and refresher site, though water is cold year-round and a 7mm wetsuit or drysuit is recommended.
